Mortonhall Park - Edinburgh

The location was perfect and great, short walk to the park, and the city centre, and the free parking was an excellent bonus. Besides, Caiy Stane was 3 km away from the property. Had essentials needed in the mobile home, including fridges, an oven, and a stovetop.

we loved staying here, the place exceeded all expectations. the staff and people generally were accommodating and pleasant. even the edinburgh airport was not so far, 16 minutes drive away.

While the caravan was enjoyable, a few small details could be spruced up. The shower floor had some brown scale on the grouting, less than appealing. An information booklet would have made using the heating and oven easier, especially for those unfamiliar with the setup. The low cupboard in one of the bedrooms could be a nuisance for taller adults. The Wi-Fi connection was weak and initially unavailable were nice.

perfect stay for exploring edinburgh's parks and landmarks

We stayed for four nights and loved how close we were to both the Hermitage of Braid and Blackford Hill, perfect for leisurely walks, and Arthur's Seat with fine views of the city, making our city strolls nice.

This spot was a good match for a brief pause in Edinburgh with best value. The kitchen was well stocked, though I'd have preferred a teapot and tea towel. Make sure to check the WiFi setup before you arrive.

Unexpected warmth in the cold

Waking up to a cozy living space brought instant comfort. The location was superb, with convenient bus services ready to whisk us to Edinburgh's delights.

The check-in confusion was a bit frustrating, especially with conflicting times provided. I wish Wi-Fi was complimentary instead of paid.

Staff were friendly and helpful at reception. The WiFi connection was poor. I paid for it, but it didn't work properly. I also noticed some brown scale on the shower floor grouting, a bit off-putting. A lovely stay with a few issues that could improve the experience.

Clean, Comfortable, Convenient

I loved how clean and cozy our Mobile Home felt throughout our stay! The local bus service was really good. Plus, the scenic walk to catch the bus? Absolutely lovely!

The location was fantastic for accessing the city via the Lothian bus. The mobile home was immaculate, with all bedding and towels provided.
